Question:

If 4 tanθ = 3 , find the value of 2sinθ .

Options:

 \(\frac{4}{5}\)

 \(\frac{4}{3}\)

 \(\frac{6}{5}\)

 \(\frac{3}{5}\)

Correct Answer:

 \(\frac{6}{5}\)

Explanation:

4 tanθ = 3

tanθ = \(\frac{3}{4}\)  (where 3 → P and 4 → B)

H = \(\sqrt {(3)^2 + (4)^2}\)

H = \(\sqrt {25}\) = 5

2Sinθ = \(\frac{P}{H}\) =  2 × \(\frac{3}{5}\) =  \(\frac{6}{5}\)
