Explanation:

Speed downstream $= 16 \text{ km/hr}$,

Speed upstream $= 10 \text{ km/hr}$

$\text{Speed of the boat in still water} = \frac{1}{2} (16 + 10) \text{ km/hr}$

$= \frac{1}{2} (26) \text{ km/hr} = 13 \text{ km/hr}$
