We have,

Radius of two circles = 7.5 and 4.4

(AP)² = (PB)² + (AB)²

= (7.5)² = (4.4)² + (AB)²

= 56.25 = 19.36 + AB ²

= AB ² = 56.25 – 19.36

= AB ² = 36.89

= AB = 6.07

Length of AC = 2(AB) = 2(6.07) = 12.14
