Question:

A's salary is 20% less than B's salary. If C's salary is Rs. 10000 and it is 25% more than B's salary, then what is A's salary?

Options:

Rs. 6000

Rs. 9600

Rs. 8000

Rs. 6400

Correct Answer:

Rs. 6400

Explanation:

Let B's salary be 100, then A's salary = 80

C's salary = 125% of B = 125

According to question,

125R → 10000

So, A's salary = \(\frac{10000}{125 }\) x 80 = 6400
