Question:

The salaries of A, Band Care in ratio off $\frac{3}{2}: \frac{6}{5} : \frac{4}{3}$. The salary of A and B together is Rs.40,500. By what percentage is the salary of A more than that of C?

Options:

12%

13%

11.5%

12.5%

Correct Answer:

12.5%

Explanation:

Ratio of A , B & C = $\frac{3}{2}: \frac{6}{5} : \frac{4}{3}$

= 45 : 36 : 40

(45+36)R = 81R = 40500

1R = 500

salary of A = 45R = 22500

salary of B = 20000

Percentage  of salary of A more than salary of C

= \(\frac{salary of A - salary of C }{salary of C}\)

=\(\frac{2500}{20000}\) × 100% = 12.5%
