A convex polygon is a polygon in which all of its interior angles are less than 180° and all of its vertices point outwards. In other words, a convex polygon is a closed figure in which all its internal angles are less than 180° and all its sides are contained within the figure. Examples of convex polygons include a regular pentagon, hexagon, octagon etc.
