Question:

Ulatbansi and Nirgun are the features of which saint's composition?

Options:

Nanak

Kabir

Andal

Basavanna

Correct Answer:

Kabir

Explanation:

The correct answer is Option (2) → Kabir

Kabir’s poems have survived in several languages and dialects; and some are composed in the special language of nirguna poets, the sant bhasha. Others, known as ulatbansi (upside-down sayings), are written in a form in which everyday meanings are inverted.  Kabir's works were mainly written in the Hindi language. In the 15th century, he chose to write in colloquial, regional language. His poetry is a mixture of Bhojpuri, Urdu, Hindi, Khari Boli, Punjabi, Persian and Marwari.
