Three men A, B and C can do a piece of work in 10, 12 and 15 days. All of them start work together. After 2 days A left the work and after next 2 days B left the job. Find in how many days the whole work will finish? |

In these type of conditions: i) If A works for 2 days only, Work done = 2 × 6 = 12 and ii) If B works for 4 days only, Work done = 4 × 5 = 20 Now, **Total work = 60 - 12 - 20 = 28 which is to be done by C only and the time taken in this case is always equal to the time taken by A, B and C in the the given condition.** Hence, Work will be completed in = \(\frac{28}{4}\) = 7 days |
