In A & D , Total number of students opted other than statistics

= 80% of 450  + 85% of 400

= \(\frac{4}{5}\) × 450 + \(\frac{17}{20}\) × 400

= 360 +  340

=700

Average = \(\frac{700}{2}\)  = 350
