what is the name of the six year scheme launched by Union Government targeting 100 districts to boost agriculture and allied sectors?
Answer & explanation
Correct answer: option 3
The correct answer is Option 3: Prime Minister Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana
The scheme, inspired by NITI Aayog’s Aspirational District Programme, focuses on crop diversification, sustainable farming, better irrigation, enhanced post-harvest storage, and improved credit access. It will be implemented through the convergence of 36 schemes across 11 departments, in partnership with state governments and the private sector. Districts will be selected based on low productivity, low cropping intensity, and low credit disbursement, with a minimum of one district per state.
