Question:

If it is given for two right angles triangles ABC and DEF, ∠A= 25o, ∠E = 25o, ∠B = ∠F= 90o and AC = ED, then which one of the following is TRUE ?

Options:

ΔABC ≅ ΔFED

ΔABC ≅ ΔDEF

ΔABC ≅ ΔEFD

ΔABC ≅ ΔDEF

Correct Answer:

ΔABC ≅ ΔEFD

Explanation:

Concept Used

Two right-angled triangles are said to be congruent to each other when the hypotenuse and one side of the right triangle are equal to the hypotenuse and the right triangle are equal to the hypotenuse and the corresponding side of the other right-angle triangle.

Calculation

As, \(\angle\)A = \(\angle\)E = \({25}^\circ\) , \(\angle\)B = \(\angle\)F = \({90}^\circ\) and AC = ED

According to the congruence theorem of the triangle it can be written as \(\Delta \)ABC is congruent to \(\Delta \)EFD

Thus, \(\angle\)A = \(\angle\)E; \(\angle\)B = \(\angle\)F; \(\angle\)C = \(\angle\)D

Therefore, the answer is ΔABC ≅ ΔEFD
