A person travels 5x distance speed of 5 km/h, x distance at a speed of 5 km/h, and 4x distance at a speed of 6 km/h, and takes a total of 112 minutes. What is the total distance (in km) travelled by the person ?

Time = \(\frac{Distance }{Speed}\)

Time 1 = \(\frac{5x }{5}\)

Time 2 = \(\frac{x }{5}\)

Time 3 = \(\frac{4x}{6}\)

According to question ,

\(\frac{5x }{5}\) + \(\frac{x }{5}\) + \(\frac{4x}{6}\) = \(\frac{112}{60}\)

\(\frac{56x}{30}\) = \(\frac{112}{60}\)

x = 1So , Total distance = 5x + x + 4x = 10x

= 10 × 1 = 10 km
