Find the total time taken by one boy and one girl together working on project P and project T.

Time taken by boy to complete the project P = 10 days

Time taken by girl to complete the project P = 15 days

Let the total work on Project P = LCM of 10 and 15 i.e. = 30

Total efficiency = 5 unit a day

Time taken by them to complete the work on P = \(\frac{30}{5}\) = 6 days

Project T

Time taken by boy to complete the project T = 8 days

Time taken by girl to complete the project T = 24 days

Let the total work on Project T = LCM of 8 and 24 i.e. = 24

Total efficiency = 4 unit a day

Time taken by them together to complete the work = \(\frac{24}{4}\) = 6 days

So, total amount of work required = 6 + 6 = 12 days
