Question:

What is the perimeter of a right-angled triangle whose sides (making 90°) are $20\sqrt{3}$cm and $15\sqrt{3}$ cm?

Options:

$60\sqrt{3}$ cm

$55\sqrt{3}$ cm

$65\sqrt{3}$ cm

$50\sqrt{3}$ cm

Correct Answer:

$60\sqrt{3}$ cm

Explanation:

Two sides of a right angled triangle are = $20\sqrt{3}$cm and $15\sqrt{3}$

Then according to the triplet (15,20,25) the third side will be = $25\sqrt{3}$

And we know that the perimeter of a triangle = Sum of all three sides

Perimeter = $20\sqrt{3}$ + $15\sqrt{3}$ + $25\sqrt{3}$ = $60\sqrt{3}$
