Question:

The table given below shows the number of sharpener sold by two shopkeepers A and B in 5 months.

  Shopkeepers
Months A B
R 200 155
S 190 160
T 170 210
U 165 180
V 155 175

P1 = The total number of sharpener sold by A.

P2 = the total number of  sharpener sold by B.

What is the value of (P1/P2)?

Options:

1

2

3

4

Correct Answer:

1

Explanation:

P1 = The total number of sharpener sold by A.

= 200 + 190 + 170 + 165 + 155

= 880

P2 = the total number of  sharpener sold by B.

= 155 + 160 + 210 + 180 + 175

= 880

Now ,  \(\frac{P1}{P2}\) = \(\frac{880}{880}\) = 1
