Note 1: The given answer is as per the official NTA Answer Key. The book does not say in clear words that more than 50 per cent of workers are in the tertiary and quaternary sectors. It only says that in a developed economy the majority of workers get employment in tertiary activity, and that over half of all workers in developed economies are in the ‘Knowledge Sector’ of quaternary services.
