A and B can complete a work in 10 days and 15 days, respectively. They got a total of Rs. 1,250 for that work. What will be B’s share?

A = 10 days, B = 15 days,

⇒ Amount for total work = Rs. 1250

⇒ Share of A & B = Total Efficiency = Total amount.

⇒ (3 + 2)x = 1250

⇒ 5x =1250

⇒ x =\(\frac{1250}{5}\) = 250.

⇒ B's share = 2 x 250 = Rs. 500    ..(Total Efficiency = Total amount)
