(A) London is the first Million City of the world — Correct. London was the first city to reach a population of one million.
(B) Paris was the second city to reach the million mark in 1850 — Correct. After London, Paris reached the million mark in 1850, followed by New York in 1860.
(C) By 1982, the number of million cities rose to 375 — Incorrect. By 1982, about 175 cities in the world had crossed the one million mark, not 375. NTA changed one number of the book, and a true line became false. Read every word before you mark the answer.
(D) By 2017, 54 percent people of the world were living in urban areas — Correct. In 2017, 54 per cent of the world’s people lived in urban areas, against only 3 per cent in 1800.

Pre-rationalised NCERT: “Urban Settlements … Rapid urban growth is a recent phenomenon. Until recent times, few settlements reached the population size of more than a few thousand inhabitants. The first urban settlement to reach a population of one million was the city of London by around. A.D. 1810 By 1982 approximately 175 cities in the world had crossed the one million population mark. Presently 54 per cent of the world’s population lives in urban settlements compared to only 3 per cent in the year 1800 (Table 10.1).”
