How many cycles are not pedals?

Step 1 ) Look at the figure of  Triangle , circle and square

Step 2) Look at  number given in cycles which are not pedals that means outside area of pedals
 

Step 3) By visual observations we conclude that (6 + 5 = 11) is the number of cycles which are not pedals
