II. The sum of number of boys in school J, K and L are 2400.

Options:

Both I and II

Only I

Only II

Neither I nor II

Correct Answer:

Only II

Explanation:

I. The difference between number of boys in school M and Q are 1660.

Difference in number of boys in M & Q = 34% of 6000 - 8% of 6000

= 26% of 6000

= 1560

Statement 1 is not correct.

II. The sum of number of boys in school J, K and L are 2400.

Total number of boys in J , K & L = ( 12% + 6% + 22% ) = 40% of 6000

= \(\frac{2}{5}\) × 6000

= 2400

Statement II is correct .

Ans - Only II
