Twice the speed of A is equal to thrice the speed of B.To travel a certain distance, A takes 42 minutes less than B to travel the same distance. What is the time (in minutes) taken by B to travel the same distance?

Let Speed of A = A km/h

Speed of B = B km/h

According to Question ,

2A = 3 B

Ratio of speed of A & B = 3 : 2

Speed is inversely proportional to Time .

So , Ratio of Time of A & B = 2 : 3

Now , 3R - 2R = 1R

1R  = 42 minutes

3R = 3 × 42 = 126 minutes

So , Time taken by B is 126 minutes
