Five consecutive odd numbers are 1, 3, 5, 7, 9

Average of five consecutive odd number = \(\frac{1 + 3 + 5 + 7 + 9}{5}\) = 5

So m = 5

If next three odd number are included, then average of 8 consecutive odd number = \(\frac{25 + 11 + 13 + 15}{8}\)

            ⇒ 8

Increase in average = 8 - 5 = 3
