Time = \(\frac{Distance}{Speed}\)

Let us consider that , First half Distance = x km

\(\frac{x}{12}\) + \(\frac{x}{15}\) = 9

\(\frac{9x}{60}\)  = 9

x = 60 km

So, Total distance = 2 × 60 = 120km

The correct answer is option (1) : 120 km
