Question:

If A = 2 ÷ 3 × 4, B = 3 of 4 + (7 − 2) and C = 4 + 5 − 6, then what is the value of A + B + C?

Options:

$\frac{85}{3}$

$\frac{79}{3}$

$\frac{59}{3}$

$\frac{68}{3}$

Correct Answer:

$\frac{68}{3}$

Explanation:

If A = 2 ÷ 3 × 4, B = 3 of 4 + (7 − 2) and C = 4 + 5 − 6, then what is the value of A + B + C

A =  2 ÷ 3 × 4

= \(\frac{8}{3}\)

B = 3 of 4 + (7 − 2)

= 12 + 5 = 17

C = 4 + 5 − 6

= 9 - 6 = 3

Then, A + B + C = \(\frac{8}{3}\) + 17 + 3 = $\frac{68}{3}$
