Question:

The Bar graph given below presents the amount (volume in litres) of water in ten different mixtures.

The amount of water in mixture M7 is how much more than the average amount of water per mixture?

Options:

4

4.4

4.2

4.6

Correct Answer:

4.4

Explanation:

⇒ Average amount of water in mixture = \(\frac{12+14+15+17+21+24+28+31+34+40 }{10}\)

= \(\frac{ 236 }{10}\)

= 23.6

Amount of water in M7 = 28

Required difference = 28 - 23.6 = 4.4
