Question:

If cos (\(\frac{π}{2}\) - 2θ) = \(\frac{1}{2}\) , the value of tan3θ is?

Options:

2

-1

1

0

Correct Answer:

1

Explanation:

cos (\(\frac{π}{2}\) - 2θ) = \(\frac{1}{2}\)

⇒ cos(\(\frac{π}{2}\) - 2θ) = cos60°

⇒ 90 - 2θ = 60°

⇒ 2θ = 30° ⇒  θ = 15°

tan3θ = tan45° = 1
