Options:

38,000, 57,000 and 76,000

34,000, 51,000 and 68,000

36,000, 54,000 and 72,000

40,000, 60,000 and 80,000

Correct Answer:

38,000, 57,000 and 76,000

Explanation:

Ratio of votes of three candidates = 2 : 3 : 4

Sum of votes of three candidates = 189000 - 18000 = 171000

 (2R + 3R + 4R) = 171000

9R =  171000

R = 19000

Now, the votes of three candidates are,

 2R =  2 × 19000  = 38000

 3R =  3 × 19000 = 57000

 4R =  4 × 19000 = 76000
