Answer & explanation
Correct answer: option 2
The correct answer is Option (2) → Adi Parvan
This is how Hastinapur described in Adi Parvan of the Mahabharata-
"The city bursting like the ocean, packed with hundreds of mansions, displayed with its gateways, arches and turrets like massing clouds the splendour of Great Indra's city".
The "Adi Parvan" is the first book or section of the Mahabharata, and it contains the beginning of the epic and sets the stage for the story that unfolds. This description provides an early depiction of the city of Hastinapura, which is central to the Mahabharata narrative.
