Lets assume four years ago age of Shyam be 3x and age of Ram be 4x
Given, \(\frac{3x + 8}{4x + 8}\) = \(\frac{5}{6}\)
18x + 48 = 20x + 40
2x = 8
x = 4
Age of shyam 4 years ago = 3 × 4 = 12 years
Present age of Shyam = 12 + 4 = 16 years
