A, B and C are three partners in a business. A receives \(\frac{3}{7}\)th part of the total profit and remaining profit is distributed between B and C equally. If profit return will increase from 7% to 12%, then profit of A increase by Rs.450. Find the total profit of B & C. |
Rs. 8250 Rs. 12000 Rs. 11000 Rs. 13000 |
Rs. 12000 |
Let the total profit = Rs. 700 (so that \(\frac{3}{7}\) can be calculated easily) Ratio of profit⇒ A : B : C = 300 : 200 : 200 Now, profit return increased by= 12 - 7 = 5% So, A's profit increased by = 300 × 5 % = 15 ATQ, 15R = 450 1R = 30 Total profit of B and C = 400R = 400 × 30 = 12000/- |
