Using the first two clues - Raj is second to the right of Aman. Sunil is third to the left of Aman.

We place Aman at position 1,

Ram is not the immediate neighnour of Aman. Amit is second to the right of Ram. Rahul is not the immediate neighbour of Amit

⇒ Ram cannot be placed at 2 or 7, thus he is placed at 5 and Rahul is placed at 7.

We place Sumit in the last vacant position, i.e. 2
