If cot x - tan x = 3/2, then what will be the value of cot x + tan x?

cot x - tan x = \(\frac{3}{2}\) 

Using formula ,

a - \(\frac{1}{a}\)  = A , then a + \(\frac{1}{a}\)  = \(\sqrt { A² + 4}\)

So , cot x + tan x  = \(\sqrt { (3/2)² + 4}\)

= \(\sqrt { \frac{25}{4}}\)

= \(\frac{5}{2}\)
