(A) Demarcation of boundaries of Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh- 2000 ( On the basis of a separate regional culture or complaints of regional imbalance in development, the states of Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, and Jharkhand, were created in the year 2000).

(B) Formation of Andhra on linguistic lines- 1953 (The movement, known as the Vishalandhra movement, called for the separation of Telugu-speaking areas from the Madras province and the establishment of a separate Andhra province. On 1 October 1953, 11 districts in the Telugu-speaking portion of Madras State became the new Andhra State with Kurnool as the capital various political forces in the Andhra region supported the demand for linguistic reorganization of the Madras province).
