What are the average marks, in percentage, obtained by X?

Options:

76.5%

80.5%

82.5%

85.5%

Correct Answer:

82.5%

Explanation:

Sum of Marks of X = \(\frac{7}{10}\) × 300 + \(\frac{9}{10}\) × 300 + \(\frac{19}{20}\) × 200 + \(\frac{4}{5}\) × 100 + \(\frac{3}{4}\) × 100

= 210 + 270 + 190 + 80 + 75

= 825

Total marks = 300 + 300 + 200 + 100 + 100 = 1000

Average marks  = \(\frac{825}{1000}\) = 82.5%
