- Telangana Movement: This movement (1946-1951) aimed to address the harsh feudal conditions faced by peasants in the princely state of Hyderabad. It protested against landlords and oppressive zamindari systems, demanding land reforms and social justice.
- Bardoli Satyagraha: This satyagraha (1928) targeted the British policy of raising land taxes in Bardoli, Gujarat. Led by Mahatma Gandhi, it advocated for non-violent resistance against the unjust tax hike and ultimately succeeded in securing relief for the peasants.
- Champaran Satyagraha: This satyagraha (1917) focused on the plight of farmers in Champaran, Bihar, who were forced to cultivate indigo for British planters under exploitative contracts. Gandhi led peaceful protests against the discriminatory practices and the oppressive indigo system, eventually achieving reforms for the farmers.
