Area of the verandah = Area of hall including verandah - Area of hall

Area of verandah = (20 + 2.5 + 2.5 x 15 + 2.5 + 2.5) - ( 20 x 15 )

Area of verandah = ( 25 x 20 ) - (20 x 15)

Cost of flooring: 200 x 3.5 = Rs. 700
