Options:

320 gm

480 gm

380 gm

420 gm

Correct Answer:

420 gm

Explanation:

60% = \(\frac{3}{5}\)   &   25% = \(\frac{3}{4}\)

Amount of sugar in 700 grams of sugar cane  = \(\frac{3}{5}\) × 700 = 420

ATQ ,

Let Sugar added = a

\(\frac{420 + a }{700 + a }\) = \(\frac{3}{4}\)

1680 + 4a = 2100 + 3a

a = 420

So , Amount of sugar  added to make sugar percentage equals to 75% = 420 grams
