= cos 15° + sin 15°

let cos 15° + sin 15° = x

on squaring both side

cos215° + sin215° + 2 sin 15 . cos 15 = x2

1 + sin 2 ( 15°) = x2

1 + sin30° =x2

1 + \(\frac{1}{2 }\) = x2

\(\frac{3}{2 }\) = x2

x = $\sqrt{\frac{3}{2}}$
