After 6 years from present = 2 : 1

ATQ,

⇒ \(\frac{3R + 9}{1R + 9}\) = \(\frac{2}{1}\)

⇒ 3R + 9 = 2R + 18

⇒ 1R = 9

⇒ 3 years ago age of Rahul = (3 × 9) = 27 and

    age of Sahil = (1 × 9) = 9

Now,

Rahul's present age => 27 + 3 = 30 years

Sahil's present age => 27 + 3  = 12 years
