The correct answer is Option (4) - Rabindranath Tagore
Visva-Bharati University was founded by the renowned Indian poet, philosopher, and Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. Tagore established Visva-Bharati in 1921 with the vision of creating a center of learning that would blend the best of Indian and Western educational philosophies.
The name "Visva-Bharati" reflects this vision, with "Visva" meaning the world and "Bharati" meaning India. Tagore envisioned Visva-Bharati as a place where students and scholars from different cultures and backgrounds could come together to exchange ideas and foster mutual understanding.
