A, B and C are three partners in a business. A receives \(\frac{5}{11}\)th part of the total profit and remaining profit is distributed between B and C equally. If profit return will increase from 18% to 22%, then profit of A increase by Rs.560. Find the total profit of B & C.

Let the total profit = Rs.1100   (so that \(\frac{5}{11}\) can be calculated easily)

Ratio of profit⇒ A : B : C = 500 : 300 : 300

Now, profit return increased by= 22% - 18% = 4%

So, A's profit increased by = 500 × 4% = 20

ATQ, 20R = 560

1R = 28

Total profit of B and C = 600R = 600 × 28 = 16800/-
