Let total marks = 100x

Passing marks = 20% of 100x + 11

= 20x + 11

Also, Passing marks = 50% of 100x - 4

= 50x - 4

50x - 4 = 20x + 11

30x = 15

x = 0.5

100x = 100 × 0.5 = 50
