| Muslin is a type of cotton textile which has its origin in earlier Bengal ( which included almost entire north east region of India and Bangladesh too), particularly near places around Dhaka, which is now the capital of Bangladesh. It was also called as Daccai Muslin as Dhaka was initially spelled as Daccai. The finest variety of the fabric was known as Malmal. |
