Question:

In a game of 100 points, O can give 40 points to Q and 46 points to R. How many points can Q give R ?

Options:

8

10

11

12

Correct Answer:

10

Explanation:

The correct answer is Option (2) → 10

The skill ratio -

$O:Q=100:60=5:3$

$O:R=100:54=50:27$

$⇒Q=\frac{3}{5}O,R=\frac{27}{50}O$

$⇒\frac{Q}{R}=\frac{3}{5}×\frac{50}{27}=\frac{10}{9}$

If Q score 10 points, then R score 9 points.

Q give → 10 - 9 = 1 point per 10 points

∴ for a game of 100 points, Q can give,

$\frac{100×1}{10}=10$ points
