Question: Which option is correct for Amit, if Amit was born on 11th of July 1987. He obtained 65% in graduation. He scored 66% marks in MBA?

Options:

If the data provided are inadequate to take a decision

If the Amit is to be selected

If the Amit is not to be selected

If the case is referred to HR Manager

Correct Answer:

If the data provided are inadequate to take a decision

Explanation:

Condition (i) is satisfied (Amit has passed class 12th, but we don't know his marks)

Condition (ii) is partially satisfied (Amit scored 65% in graduation, which is more than the required 55%)

Condition iii is satisfied (Amit scored 66% marks in MBA)

Condition iv is partially satisfied (Amit's age as of March 1, 2018 would be around 31 years, which is within the required range of 25-35 years)

Since Amit's class 12th marks are not known, it's impossible to determine whether he meets the minimum 60% marks requirement.

Thus, the data provided are inadequate to take a decision.
