A car can cover a distance of 18 km in 24 minutes. The speed of a bus is twice that of the car. In how many minutes can the bus cover a distance of 135 km?

We know ,

Speed = \(\frac{DIstance}{Time}\)

 Speed of the car ,

= \(\frac{18 × 60 }{24}\)  = 45 km/h

 The speed of a bus = 2 × Speed of the car

 The speed of a bus = 2 × 45 = 90 km/h

 Time taken by bus ,

= \(\frac{135}{90}\)

= \(\frac{3}{2}\)  hours = 90 minutes

So ,  The bus covers a distance of 135 km in 90 minutes.
