A man loses 25% of his money and after spending 15% of the remainder, he is left with Rs. 255. How much money had he at first?

 & 15% = \(\frac{3}{20}\)

If loses 25% then remaining = \(\frac{3}{4}\)

If spending 15% then remaining = \(\frac{17}{20}\)

Let initial amount = Rs. x

ATQ,

x × \(\frac{3}{4}\) × \(\frac{17}{20}\) = 255

x = 400
