Salaries of Ram and Shyam are in the ratio 3 : 4 . If the salary of each is increased by ₹200 then new ratio becomes 6 : 7. What is Ram's salary?

 & Actual salary of Shyam = 4R

Now, ATQ

⇒ \(\frac{3R\;+\;200}{4R\;+\;200}\) = \(\frac{6}{7}\)

⇒ (21R ) + (1400) = (24R ) + (1200 )

⇒ 3R = 200

⇒ 1R = \(\frac{200}{3}\)

Here,

Ram  salary = 3R = 3 × \(\frac{200}{3}\) = Rs.200/-
