Raju covered 200 km in 10 hours. First of all, he started his journey with car at a speed of 25 km/hr and after then a problem occurred in his car. He covered the remaining distance by bike at a speed of 15 km/h. Find the ratio of distance traveled by the bike and car. |
3 : 5 5 : 3 3 : 1 1 : 3 |
3 : 5 |
Average speed for the whole trip = \(\frac{200}{10}\) = 20 km/h Distance = speed × time Distance by car = 5 × 25 = 125 km Distance by bike = 5 × 15 = 75 km The ratio between bike and car is: 75 : 125 = 3 : 5 |
