The present ages of Vishal and Shekhar are in the ratio of 14 : 17. Six years from now, their ages will be in the ratio of 17 : 20. What is Shekhar's present age?

Given, \(\frac{14x + 6}{17x + 6}\) = \(\frac{17}{20}\)

280 + 120 = 289x + 102

9x = 18

x = 2 So , Present age of Shekhar = 17 × 2 = 34 years
